For our company headquarters in Neuss we are looking for you as

Accountant (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements as well as financial analysis
• Creating monthly tax returns and statistical reports
• Monitoring payment transactions, cash planning and AR reconciliation
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
• Preparing reconciliation with intercompany accounts
• Assisting with annual audit and tax audit preparations
• Assisting in the designing and implementation of process optimization projects
• Reviewing and giving suggestions to improve internal control procedures
• Assisting in preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group

This is what distinguishes you:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, with a focus on accounting and tax law
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of tax laws and HGB (IFRS would be an advantage)
• Experience in the consumer goods business is preferable
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
• High level of proactivity, resilience, and persistence
• Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner, paying attention to the quality of the work results
• High degree of independence, flexibility as well as communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, German is a plus
• Additional language is an advantage
